Foodways' Premium Thali is a platter designed for a truly luxurious dining experience, showcasing the artistry and abundance of Indian cuisine. It's a feast for the senses, offering an even wider array of flavors, textures, and aromas. Our Premium Thali emphasizes the highest quality ingredients, many of which are sourced directly from our own farms and dairy, and features a selection of our most special preparations.

Here's a description of our Premium Thali:

  • Breads: Four ghee-brushed Chapattis/Parathas or two pieces of Naan/Tandoori Paratha. These whole wheat flatbreads and Naans are made from our own self-grown wheat, cooked homestyle, and brushed with ghee produced in our dairy. Chapati is thinner, while Paratha can be layered. The Naan or Tandoori Paratha offer a different texture and flavor profile.
  • Lentils/Dal Makhani: Our signature Dal Makhani, a rich and creamy lentil preparation slow-cooked to perfection. This is a luxurious and flavorful Dal, a true highlight of the meal.
  • Paneer Item: A premium dish featuring Paneer (Cottage cheese). This could be a creamy curry like Paneer Makhani, a flavorful dish like Kadai Paneer, or a rich Preparation like Shahi Paneer. The Paneer is often homemade, adding to the special quality of the Thali.
  • Seasonal Vegetable: A dry or gravy-based dish featuring fresh, seasonal produce. We offer a variety of seasonal vegetable preparations, such as Eggplant (Baingan), Cauliflower (Gobhi), Peas (Matar), Okra (Bhindi), Tomatoes (Tamatar), Onions (Pyaaz), and Green Beans (Faras ki Sabzi).
  • Rice: Plain, steamed rice or Jeera rice, sourced directly from our farms. This provides a staple carbohydrate in the Thali.
  • Salad: A refreshing mix of sliced Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Carrots, and Onions and other seasonal greens.
  • Raita: A cooling Yoghurt-Based condiment, often with added vegetables or spices. This complements the richer dishes and provides a refreshing contrast.
  • Papad: A thin, crispy Lentil Wafer, adding a delightful crunch to the meal.
  • Dessert: A selection of sweet treats to complete the meal. This could include a combination of traditional Indian desserts like Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, or a seasonal sweet dish, perhaps even a small portion of Kheer (Rice Pudding) or Halwa.

These components are arranged on a large, ornate platter, with the breads and rice placed directly on the platter and the other dishes served in small, elegant bowls. The combination of soft breads, fluffy rice, the luxurious Dal Makhani, the richness of the Paneer, the fresh seasonal vegetable, crunchy salad, cooling Raita, crispy Papad, and the delightful dessert provides a truly exceptional and memorable dining experience.
